HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

WHAT DOES AN APPOINTMENT INVOLVE?

You will have a 45 min one-on-one appointment to browse and try on the dresses you like. Feel free to bring along a loved one or two who may be helpful to your decision making. Please bring your natural beauty to your appointment - no make up or fake tan please!

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE?

Payment options include bank transfer or cash. Please note that full payment is required at the time of purchase.

DO YOU HIRE GOWNS?

All items are available for purchase only.

CAN YOU MAKE TO ORDER?

No, we are not a traditional boutique. Our gowns are selected for their quality, individuality, style and the opportunity to offer brides sustainable wedding wear. That means our gowns are one-off and, unlike traditional retailers, are not available in all sizes. Not only does this have precious benefits for our planet, it also means that it is unlikely that anyone else will have seen or worn our gowns at local weddings.

WHAT IF I LOVE A GOWN, BUT IT DOESN’T FIT ME PERFECTLY? CAN IT BE ALTERED?

In most cases, yes, absolutely! We can recommend a local seamstress who you can see for alterations. Sunday Soiree does not take any responsibility or liability for issues arising due to alterations.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR REFUNDS?

Please choose carefully as once you have made a purchase, Sunday Soiree does not accept returns, refunds or exchanges.

SELLING

CAN I SELL MY DRESS WITH SUNDAY SOIREE?

Yes!  Please call Alicia to make an appointment where you can bring your gown/outfit to Sunday Soiree and fill in the relevant paperwork.  Please note that the criteria I use to select gowns/outfits may be different to other consignment stores; as rather than duplicate what is already locally available, I am looking for what will offer the greatest range, choice and jaw-dropping style to our regional brides. In all cases, gowns and outfits must be professionally dry cleaned and in excellent condition, with receipts for both dry cleaning and the original purchase provided.

WHAT COMMISSION DO YOU CHARGE?

Upon sale of the gown/outfit, Sunday Soiree will retain a 20% commission, and will transfer the remaining 80% of the final sale price into your nominated bank account.

DO YOU SELL ITEMS OTHER THAN GOWNS?

Yes. We adore alternative and non-traditional wedding wear options including jumpsuits, separates and wedding suits (female). I also take veils, headpieces and a limited number of other accessories. Please call or email to discuss further.

HOW MUCH CAN I SELL MY OUTFIT FOR?

Gently worn wedding gowns typically sell for around 35-50% of the original selling price, depending on factors including the style, condition, designer, and age of the outfit. At our appointment, we can discuss in detail and agree on a selling price.

WHAT KIND OF OUTFITS DO YOU ACCEPT?

At Sunday Soiree, we are free thinkers and want to expand the limitations on what currently defines wedding wear. We are open to considering gently worn non-traditional and alternative wedding outfits; and well as high quality pre-loved traditional gowns, which match our intention to expand the range and choice of wedding style that is currently available within our beautiful region. In all cases, we only accept gowns and outfits in excellent condition that have been professionally dry cleaned. We take all sizes and styles of gowns and outfits.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SELL/WHAT IF IT DOESN’T SELL QUICKLY?

We will agree on a length of the consignment term and a price range at our initial appointment. Both can be adjusted if the gown is not selling within our agreed timeframe. We will never sell your gown for a lower price than agreed without your consent.

HOW WILL YOU ADVERTISE MY OUTFIT?

Sunday Soiree will advertise both on and offline within the bridal community. A photo of the front and back of the gown should be provided for use when advertising the gown. We can ensure your face is not shown if you prefer.
